Motto & Mission I solemnly promise to uphold the aims and responsibilities of Future Business Leaders of America and, as an active member, I shall strive to develop the qualities necessary in becoming a responsible business leader. Mission The FBLA mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Creed I believe free education is the right of every individual. I believe their future depends upon mutual understanding and cooperation of business, industry, labor, the home, the church, the school, and by the peoples of our own and other lands. I agree to do my utmost to bring about better understanding and cooperation on the part of all these groups. I believe every individual should prepare for a useful occupation, and should carry on that occupation in a manner that will bring the greatest good to the greatest number. I believe every individual should be actively interested in better social, political, community, and family life. I believe every individual has the right to earn a living at a useful occupation and that this right should not be denied because of race, color, creed, sex, or handicap. I believe every individual should take responsibility for carrying out assigned tasks in a manner that will reflect credit to oneself, one’s associates, school and community. I believe I have the responsibility to work efficiently and to think clearly, and I promise myself to use these abilities to make the world a better place for everyone.
