Grading Policy

 Homework:  All work must be shown and done in pencil.  No Work Shown, No Credit Given, No Exceptions. 

Homework is assigned daily.  Each assignment is worth 100 points.  All homework is graded for completion.  Grades are calculated as follows:  Entire assignment—100% = A, 75—99% completed—80% = C, 50—74% completed—60% = F and anything less than 50% completed will receive a “0.”   All assignments are due the next day, unless otherwise specified.  No late work will be accepted!

Classwork:  All assignments are given for classwork, however if a student does not complete the assignment in class, then they will complete for homework.

 Notebook:  Each student will maintain a notebook.  All notes, class work, and homework assignments will be kept in this book.  You must bring your notebook and textbook to class EVERYday.  There will be visual checks and quizzes over these notebooks.

Warm-ups:  Will be given and collected randomly.  Each warm-up will be graded for accuracy and will be recorded as a classwork grade.

Tests & Quizzes:  Given when appropriate.
