Coach Parsons attended Stonington High School in Stonington, Connecticut. He was a four-year Varsity letterman in soccer and baseball.

Coach Parsons earned his Bachelor's degree at Old Dominion University. While at Lakeland High School, Coach Parsons coached JV Boys' Soccer. He was the JV Boys' Soccer coach at King's Fork High during the 2004-2005 school year before becoming head coach in 2005.

Coach Parsons teaches Earth Science at King's Fork High School.
