FRIENDS FOREVER

The time has come to say so long

All the good and bad times have come and gone

Fear not my friend for keep in mind

That good true friends are hard to find.

Never trade the old ones in for the new

Keep them at heart and they will help you through

Say “Hello friend”, not “Goodbye”

As we fight to hold back the tears in our eyes.

We dread the day that one must move on

But we’ll keep in our hearts a happy song!

I’ll cherish the happy moments you shared with me

Best of luck I wish to thee!

In this newspaper we will be featuring a dramatic series.  You’ll laugh because its funny and you’ll cry because its true.  Our characters include:  Kore Retsof, the girl that everyone loves to hate.  Though there's some good in her, there’s always room for revenge.  Bob Smith, the boy with the perfect life, the jock, the stud, who can never seem to settle down.  Philippe (Phee-leep-ay) Neila, a foreigner from OUT of town, how far?.......You’ll just have to find out.  Lucy Lladnar, the bible swingin’, smiley faced, happy-go-lucky girl who always gets what she wants. She also has a few secrets of her own...  J.C. Yeltra, the token bad boy, you can try and find some good but you’d be hard pressed.  Eugene Yahtzee the nerd-boy who is infatuated with bad chick Kore, who couldn’t care less. Will they ever learn? Stay tuned while the turns become twists and the suspense really kills.

THE SANDMAN

The sandman comes

In the dead of the night

In his blue balloon boat

He takes to flight

A rhythm of music

Floats through the air

Weaving through his beard

And his snow white hair

So swiftly he flies

His boat covered with stars

His flowing blue cap

That trails so far

He takes a pinch

Of his magic sand

Then cups it into

The palm of his hand

He says a couple

Of magical words

Magical words

That have never been heard

He casts it over

The quiet little town

And from the small houses

There comes not a sound
